Lagos State University, LASU, has informed students under the NELFUND Programme about the documents needed for requests involving a change of school or a change of programme or course of study. The notice applies to student loan beneficiaries who want their records processed for either type of change.
Students who plan to file such requests are to submit the stated documents to the NELFUND Desk Officer at Lagos State University. The direction is plain; the records must be complete.

Who This LASU Notice Covers

- change of programme or course of study

Documents Needed for the Request

Formal request letter
The student must write a formal request letter and address it to the university.
The letter must clearly state the type of change being requested. It must say whether the student seeks a change of school or a change of programme or course of study.
Information that must appear in the letter
The body of the letter must contain these details:
- old matriculation number
- new matriculation number
- old JAMB registration number
- new JAMB registration number
- Bank Verification Number, BVN
- National Identification Number, NIN
- Loan Application ID
- active phone number
- email address
Each item should appear clearly in the typed letter. A vague note will not do; the record needs clear identifiers.
How the Request Must Be Submitted
LASU gave a stated format for submission. The letter must be typed, duly signed, scanned into PDF format and forwarded to the email set aside by the university for records.
A signed hard copy may also be submitted, based on the preference of the Desk Officer.

The student must attach records from both the former and the new school or programme.

- JAMB admission letter from the previous school or programme

The request must also include:
- admission letter from the new school or programme
