MAU Matriculation 2026: Date, Rehearsal & Gown Details

Modibbo Adama University has announced the matriculation ceremony schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The notice gives the date, time, and venue for the main ceremony. It also sets out the rehearsal exercise, the gown collection process, and the deposit required from matriculating students; for fresh students, one point stays Clear, attendance is required at both events.

MAU matriculation ceremony date, time, and venue

The matriculation ceremony has been fixed as follows:

• Date: Thursday, 16 April 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM
• Venue: Convocation Square

MAU rehearsal exercise details

The rehearsal exercise will hold as follows:

• Date: Tuesday, 14 April 2026
• Time: 3:00 PM
• Venue: Convocation Square

Collection of academic gowns

Students are to collect academic gowns on the date below:

• Date: Tuesday, 14 April 2026
• Time: From 10:00 AM
• Venue: Respective Faculties

For gown collection, students are required to pay a deposit of N1,000 at the University Microfinance Bank.

The receipt must then be presented to the Faculty Officer for gown collection.

What matriculating students should note

All matriculating students are required to attend both the rehearsal exercise and the main ceremony.

That instruction is direct; each student is expected to be present at the two scheduled events.
