Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa, has opened the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. The college, located in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State, is accredited and runs under the motto, “Training Breeds a Healthier Society.”
Candidates who want professional health training can now apply for the listed programmes; the entry conditions and payment details are already stated by the college.
Courses available and entry requirements
National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) for 3 years
Applicants must have WAEC, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or GCE O-Level with five credits in no more than two sittings. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Junior Community Health Workers with two years of post-qualification experience and a valid CHPRBN practice licence are also eligible.
Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW) for 2 years
Candidates need at least three credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Biology. They must also have passes in two other science subjects in WASCE/GCE, NABTEB or NECO, in no more than two sittings.
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for 3 years
Applicants must have at least five O-Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, in no more than two sittings.
National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND-HIM) for 2 years
Candidates must have five SSCE credit passes in WAEC, NECO or GCE. The subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry and Physics. These results must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Cost of form and where to get it
Admission forms are available at the Registry Department at a cost of N12,500.00. Sales take place during working hours, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
That makes the process Plain; applicants need to visit the Registry Department during the stated hours.
