Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Ondo State, has opened registration for its Post UTME and Direct Entry admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening registration starts on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Candidates who sat for the 2026/2027 UTME, scored 160 and above, and want to make AAUA their first-choice university can apply through the school portal.
Who Can Apply for AAUA Post UTME?
AAUA accepts UTME candidates who scored at least 160 in the 2026/2027 UTME.
Candidates who did not first choose Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko can still apply, but they must first change their school choice on JAMB CAPS and pick AAUA as first choice before the screening registration closes.
Applicants must also be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
AAUA Post UTME Registration Fee
Eligible candidates must pay ₦5,000 through the university screening portal.
The amount covers:
- ₦2,000 for Post UTME registration
- ₦3,000 for portal access fee
Payment must be made online through the AAUA screening portal via E-tranzact.
How to Register for AAUA Post UTME/DE Screening
Candidates should register through the AAUA Post UTME screening portal.
The process runs this way:
- Create an account with a valid JAMB Registration Number and email address.
- Confirm the email address by clicking the link sent to the email inbox.
- Check the spam folder if the email does not appear in the inbox.
- Log in to the portal and pay ₦5,000 through E-tranzact.
- Fill the biodata form with correct details after payment.
- Print the biodata slip.
A candidate should check each entry before submission; wrong details may affect the screening record.
General Rules for AAUA Candidates
AAUA expects candidates to upload all O’Level results correctly on the portal.
The university allows a maximum of two sittings for O’Level requirements, and it accepts WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results. Candidates waiting for O’Level results may also apply, but they must upload the results on both the AAUA portal and JAMB CAPS once released.
Direct Entry candidates can apply with any of the accepted qualifications below:
- First Degree with Second Class Lower Division
- ND with Upper Credit
- HND with Lower Credit
- JUPEB with 6 points
- NCE with 8 points
Candidates should check the admission requirements for their chosen course before completing the form.
Subject Combination and Course Requirements
AAUA expects candidates to check the O’Level and UTME subject requirements for each course before registration.
Candidates who used the wrong UTME subject combination should change to suitable courses on JAMB CAPS. They should also read the O’Level requirements for their chosen courses and pick the right subjects, which must include credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all AAUA courses.
Mistakes on the form can count as misrepresentation or falsification of documents. AAUA states that such errors may lead to disqualification.
Screening Participation Is Compulsory
All candidates must take part in the online screening exercise before AAUA can consider them for admission.
After completing the online process, each candidate should print proof of the completed transaction and keep it for later use.
Notice to AAUA Applicants
AAUA has given some clear notices for prospective applicants.
The online screening registration starts on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Candidates should study the attached documents on minimum UTME scores for some advertised programmes before choosing a course.
Applicants should provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers without DND, meaning “Do Not Disturb”. The university will not accept blame if a candidate misses information because of an invalid email address or a phone number that does not work.
AAUA also states that it has no admission agent.
