FUPRE Post UTME/DE Form for 2026/2027 Admission

Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has started selling its Post UTME application form for undergraduate admission into the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university, described as the first of its kind in Africa and the sixth across the globe, invites qualified candidates to apply for degree programmes across its colleges. Applicants who meet the UTME, age, O’Level and first-choice rules can begin their registration online.

FUPRE Post UTME Form 2026/2027: Key Dates and Fee

FUPRE opened the 2026/2027 Post UTME application on Monday, 25 May 2026, and candidates have until Friday, 17 July 2026, to complete the process.

The screening fee is ₦2,000 only.

Candidates should take the deadline seriously; late registration may leave them outside the screening process.

Who Can Apply for FUPRE Post UTME?

FUPRE has set clear rules for candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2026/2027 session.

Applicants must score at least 160 in the 2026 UTME. They must also choose FUPRE as their first-choice university, or complete a change of school to FUPRE through the JAMB portal before applying.

Each candidate must have at least five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects from SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. FUPRE accepts results obtained at no more than two sittings.

Age also matters. Only candidates who will be 16 years or older by 30 September 2026 can apply.

Direct Entry Admission at FUPRE

FUPRE accepts recognised certificates, diplomas and degrees quality-assured by NUC, NBTE or NCCE for Direct Entry admission.

Some courses do not accept Direct Entry consideration. FUPRE states that Direct Entry applicants will not be considered for the courses below:

• Petroleum Information Management
• Entrepreneurship
• Procurement Management
• Microbiology
• Biochemistry
• Petroleum Chemistry

How to Apply for FUPRE Post UTME Form

Candidates should complete the application online through the FUPRE Post UTME application portal.

The process starts with invoice generation for the ₦2,000 Post UTME fee. After payment, each candidate should enter the JAMB Registration Number and fill out the application form with correct details.

Applicants should use a password they can remember; FUPRE will require it later for access to screening results and admission status. They should also use the same active phone number used during JAMB registration.

Before final submission, each candidate should preview the form and check every detail. After clicking “Submit”, the candidate should print the registration confirmation page and keep it safe.
