BUK Notice to Postgraduate Students on Amnesty Letter

Postgraduate students of Bayero University, Kano who could not finish their programmes within the approved time are being asked to take a new step. This message is for PhD and Academic Masters students affected by the delay.
The school has directed such students to write a formal request for amnesty. The letter should be addressed to the Provost, College of Postgraduate Studies. After writing it, the student must pass the letter through the Head of Department before it gets to the College. Skipping this route may slow things down, so best to follow it as stated.
Students should ignore the earlier message that asked them to write directly to the Vice-Chancellor. That instruction is no longer valid and has been changed. Some students are still confused about this part, so the update matters.
All students concerned are expected to act on this notice without delay. Anyone who shared the old message in class groups or WhatsApp forums is asked to help pass this new one around. It saves stress for others, and keeps everyone on same page.
