BUK second semester break update
The Management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced a change to the second semester calendar for all students.
The mid-semester break will no longer stand as a separate period. It is now joined with the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Students will begin the Christmas and New Year break on 22 December 2025. They will now return on 10 January 2026, instead of 3 January 2026. This longer break is meant to make up for the cancelled mid-semester break.
