DESPO Weekend Programmes Admission Form 2026/2027: ND/HND Courses

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, DESPO, has opened admission for its weekend ND and HND programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The weekend study option covers applicants who want a National Diploma or Higher National Diploma without full weekday campus attendance. Candidates should check the courses, entry requirements, fee and screening documents before filling out the form.

DESPO Weekend ND and HND Courses

DESPO listed weekend courses for both ND and HND applicants, with some courses open to only one level.

The course list covers business, science, statistics, computing and engineering. Applicants should choose the course that matches their result and admission level.

ND and HND Programmes

ND Only

DESPO Weekend ND Admission Requirements

ND applicants must have five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.

DESPO accepts WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results for this admission. The credits must come from not more than two sittings.

DESPO Weekend HND Admission Requirements

HND applicants must meet the same O'Level requirement as ND applicants.

They must also hold an ND certificate from an NBTE-approved polytechnic. Candidates who graduated with a Pass need at least two years of work experience.

How to Apply for DESPO Weekend ND and HND Admission

Applicants should complete the form online through the DESPO weekend application portal.

On the portal, candidates should select "Weekend Application Form", pay the ₦15,000 form fee with a Verve or MasterCard, fill in the required details and submit the form online. After submission, they should print two copies of the acknowledgement slip.

Screening and Required Documents

DESPO will announce the screening date later.

Candidates should prepare the following documents and items for screening:

• Four passport photographs
• Receipt confirming payment
• O'Level result or certificate
• ND certificate, for HND applicants
• Certificate of local government origin
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• Pencil and other basic writing tools

Applicants should keep their acknowledgement slips and payment receipt safe after completing the online form.
