According to the state, the recent increase of schools is detrimental to public health, educational progress and the effectiveness of the health system.
The administration announced the closure in a statement signed by Hadiza Namadi, the state's Ministry of Health Public Relations Officer and made available to journalists on Friday.
"It is disheartening to see that some of those unrecognised institutions lack distinct locations and provide dubious programmes contrary to accepted course curricula, all while extorting high payments from students and their parents."
"As a result, the general public is therefore notified of the immediate closure of all illegal Health Training Institutions (HTIs) in the state, pending the results of appropriate investigations," the statement continued.
