Registration on the MDCN Housemanship Portal

After receiving the provisional registration certificate during induction, practitioners must create a personal profile on the Housemanship Portal at www.housemanship.mdcn.gov.ng. This registration provides access to apply for placement in any of the 46 federal training institutions under the management of the MDCN.

Applicants are strongly advised not to send applications directly to federal hospitals or to MDCN offices. Contacting institutions or council staff directly, whether personally or through others, breaches the Centralised Housemanship Placement Policy and may result in loss of access to the portal.

Key Details About the MDCN Housemanship Process

Applicants are encouraged to review the information carefully and apply only through the official portal.

Supporting Medical Training Through MDCN

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) continues to ensure transparent, fair and standardised housemanship placement across all accredited medical and dental training centres. This process strengthens professional practice and supports the development of qualified healthcare practitioners across Nigeria.
