NSUK Pre-Degree and IJMB Admission Form 2026/2027

Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has started the online sale of forms for its Pre-Degree and IJMB programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The School of Preliminary and Remedial Studies invites qualified candidates to apply for the available programmes. Applicants should read the entry rules with care before starting the online form, since each programme has its own subject requirement.

The closing date is 30 July 2026.

NSUK IJMB Programme

The IJMB programme is open to candidates with at least five O’level credits.

These credits must include English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects that match the candidate’s proposed course of study at the university. Candidates may present the required credits from not more than two sittings.

The Interim Joint Matriculation Board, IJMB, runs for one year, which covers 12 months. It prepares successful candidates for admission into 200 level degree programmes at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and other universities in Nigeria through Direct Entry.

Candidates should check the NSUK official website for available subject combinations and possible undergraduate courses.

NSUK Preliminary Science Programme

The Preliminary Science programme requires at least five O’level credits.

Candidates must have credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The programme gives candidates access to admission after they pass JAMB UTME, meet the required National Minimum Points and also meet the Nasarawa State University cut-off points.

This route suits candidates who plan to move into science-based undergraduate courses.

NSUK One-Year Remedial French Programme

The School also runs a one-year Remedial French programme for beginners who want to pursue a career in French.

Candidates under this category must remedy their O’level result and secure five credits, including Mathematics, English Language and French. They must also score the required cut-off point in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination before they can qualify for admission into the N100 level French programme.

How to Apply for NSUK Pre-Degree and IJMB Admission

Applicants should complete the form online through the NSUK preliminary studies application portal.

The form becomes available after payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira, N10,000.00, plus N315.00 bank charges, through the CBS Nasarawa State University platform.

Applicants should enter correct details during the online application. Small errors can delay processing.

Sales of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session will close on 30 July 2026.

Candidates who want any of the listed programmes should complete the process before that date.
