UNILAG DLI Matriculation Ceremony Date 2025

The University of Lagos, through its Distance Learning Institute (DLI), has fixed Friday, 30 May 2025, for its matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Newly admitted students are expected to attend, either physically or online, depending on their location or preference. The event kicks off by 9:00 a.m. at the Nurudeen Alao Auditorium inside the DLI complex.

If you’re attending in person, don’t be late. Be seated by 8:30 a.m.

Orientation to Follow Right After

Once the formal part wraps up, students will take part in an orientation session. It’s designed to help new entrants understand how to manage their studies better, especially with the unique pace of distance learning.

They’ll walk through what to expect during the academic year and where to get help when things feel overwhelming. You’ll want to pay attention — this bit usually clears up a lot of questions.
