Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has begun accepting applications into its Division of Agricultural Colleges (DAC) for the 2025/2026 session. Forms are available for National Diploma (ND), Special ND II, and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.
The DAC runs three colleges across different locations in Nigeria. Each college offers unique courses in agriculture, science, and related fields.

Entry Requirements
For HND
You need:
- A National Diploma (ND) in a related course, with at least Lower Credit
- One-year industrial training after ND
- Five O’Level credits in English, Maths, Chemistry/Physics, and Agric Science or Biology
Some programmes need a specific ND or NCE background. For example:
- Pest Management accepts ND in Agric Tech, Bio-Env Engineering, or Science Lab Tech
- Animal Health needs ND in Animal Health & Production
- Home & Rural Economics allows ND or NCE in Home Economics, Food Tech, or similar areas
Applicants with a Pass in ND may be considered if they’ve worked for 2 years (DAC graduates) or 3 years (others).
For ND
- Must apply through JAMB
- Must upload O’Level results to the JAMB portal
- Must change institution to any of the DAC colleges if not originally chosen
- Need five O’Level credits, including English and Maths
Subject combinations vary by course. For example:
- Computer Science: English, Maths, Physics, and two from Chemistry, Agric, Economics, or Geography
- Agricultural Tech: English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and one other science or social science subject

- Pay ₦2,000 through any commercial bank or Remita
For HND and ND II Special:
- Pay ₦2,500
