BSUM Matriculation Ceremony Schedule 2025

Reverend Father Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (formerly Benue State University), will hold its 32nd Matriculation Ceremony on Friday, 4 July 2025, at the new Convocation Square, Western Wing, by 10:00 a.m. sharp.

The one-day orientation programme comes a day before, on Thursday, 3 July 2025. Both events are open to students, staff, parents and the general public.

Key Instructions for Freshers

New students must complete their registration on or before Monday, 30 June 2025. Anyone who fails to register by then loses their admission. No excuses.

After registration, students should visit their Faculty Officers to collect their academic gowns. A fee of ₦2,000 applies, payable to either:

• Fidelity Bank – 5030023693
• Zenith Bank – 1011136506

On the matriculation day, students must arrive early, dressed in their gowns, and be seated by 9:00 a.m.

No Lectures for Two Days

Lectures will not hold on 3 and 4 July to allow full student participation in both the orientation and matriculation events.

Students are expected to download the Matriculation Oath and University Anthem from the university website before the event.
