KASU Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2025/2026 Admission
KASU has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025. This piece shows who qualifies, cut-off marks, and how to apply without mistakes. Don’t miss the deadline.
Kaduna State University is now taking in applications for its 2025/2026 undergraduate admission. If you picked KASU in UTME or Direct Entry, or you’re planning to switch, now’s the time to act. Registration started on Friday, 18 July, and the clock stops on 31 July 2025.
Miss that window, and well, you’re out.

Who Can Apply?
This isn’t for everyone. You must:
- Score at least the required cut-off mark for your chosen course
- Have five relevant O’Level credits, including English and Maths, in no more than two sittings
- DE candidates need an A-level qualification with the right subject combo
- If you missed the mark for your preferred course, change it on the JAMB portal before applying

Agriculture & Environmental
- Agriculture – 170
- Architecture – 170
- Building, Estate Mgt, Env. Mgt, Quantity Surveying – 170
- D.E.: 7 points and above, or relevant diploma with 10 points
Health & Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Physiotherapy, Radiography, MLS, Nursing – 200
- Pharmacy – 200
- D.E.: 12 points and diploma approved by board (also 12 points minimum)
Arts, Education, Humanities, Law
- All Arts programmes (e.g., English, Hausa, History, etc.) – 170
- Education (all courses) – 170
- D.E.: 7 points and NCE or diploma with at least 10 points
Medicine
- Medicine & Surgery – 220
- D.E.: 13 points and above
Communication, Management, Social Sciences
- Mass Comm, Journalism, Broadcasting – 180
- Political Science, Sociology, Economics, IR, Criminology – 180
- Accounting, Business Admin, Marketing, Public Admin – 170
- D.E.: 7 points and related diploma with 10 points minimum
Computing, Engineering, Sciences
- Computer Sci, Cyber Security, Info Systems – 200

Step-by-Step Registration
Step 1: Start Here
Go to the KASU application portal from your phone or computer. Select either Post UTME or Direct Entry, depending on your case.
Step 2: Create Your Profile
- Type your JAMB Reg. Number, hit Check Eligibility
- If you’re good, click More Information, then Apply Now
- First-timers should click Create New Account
- Returning users just log in
Step 3: Payment
- Double-check your details
- Pay ₦2,000 (bank charges not included) right on the portal
- Pick any of the listed payment methods
Step 4: Fill the Form Properly
- Type in your full info correctly
- List your O’Level results (max of two sittings)
- DE folks must add A-level details
- Upload these: WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results, DE docs, birth cert, NIN, indigenisation proof, updated 2025 JAMB slips
- Photo specs: clear, coloured, white background, JPEG, under 1MB
If your uploads are blurry or in the wrong slot, you risk disqualification. Don’t rush this part.
You can also choose a backup course if your first option doesn’t work out.
Step 5: Submit
- Agree that your info is real
- Preview your form
- Hit Submit
Done? Good.
Heads-Up Before You Go
- If your UTME score doesn’t match your preferred course, switch it on JAMB CAPS
- Make sure your O’Level results are uploaded to CAPS
- Use a working email and phone number. That’s how KASU will contact you
