Prince Abubakar Audu University Secures 100% Accreditation Success

The Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in Anyigba, formerly known as Kogi State University, has achieved full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for all its programmes. This accreditation follows the NUC’s exercise conducted in October and November 2023.

Vice-Chancellor’s Announcement

During the 327th meeting of the University Management Committee (UMC), the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, announced this significant achievement. Professor Tenuche shared that all twelve programmes presented for accreditation received full status. These programmes include:

• Banking and Finance
• Agriculture
• Forestry
• Home Science
• Anatomy
• Human Physiology
• Educational Administration and Planning
• Food Science and Technology
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Geography
• Political Science

The 100% pass rate in the accreditation exercise underscores the university’s dedication to excellence in teaching, learning, and research. This remarkable achievement highlights the consistent quality and high standards maintained under Professor Tenuche’s leadership.
