AYM Shafa Limited, in partnership with the Abdulmu’umin Educational Foundation, has opened applications for its 2026 annual scholarship programme. The scheme is set up to give financial support to high-achieving students, helping them complete a university first degree without unpaid tuition fees.
The award covers tuition fees for the minimum duration of the course of study; that is the stated benefit.

Applicants must meet the stated conditions before they apply.
Basic requirements
An applicant must:
- Be an indigene of Bauchi State
- Come from a low-income family
- Be less than 25 years old at the time of application
- Have received an admission offer and completed registration
- Be a full-time undergraduate student at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi State
Eligible faculties
The scholarship is open to students from these faculties:
- Agriculture
- Basic Medical or College of Medical Sciences
- Computing
- Education
- Engineering
- Veterinary Medicine
- Sciences
Ongoing conditions for award holders
Recipients must continue to meet the stated academic rules to keep the scholarship.
Academic conditions
A recipient must:
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale
- Provide session results duly endorsed by the Head of Department
If a recipient does not meet the minimum CGPA, the award is deemed terminated.

- Filled Scholarship Application Form
- Certificate of Birth or Declaration of Age
- Certificate of Indigene
- JAMB result
- O’Level credential, NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB

Application steps
Applicants are to:
- Create an account on the scholarship portal
- Fill all the necessary forms
- Upload the required documents
The recommendation letter must be signed by the applicant’s Head of Department, parent or guardian, and District Head.
Application deadline
All applicants are to submit the completed application form and the required documents on or before 17 April 2026.
