Nigerian Law School Bar Part I Admission Requirements

The Bar Part I Course is open only to Nigerian graduates of Law from Common Law countries. Their law courses must also have approval from the Council of Legal Education.

The Nigerian Law School will not recognise degrees obtained through part-time study, Open University, Long Distance Learning or online study modes for this programme. Such applicants do not qualify for admission into the course.

How to Apply for Nigerian Law School Bar Part I

Prospective applicants should visit the Nigerian Law School website and complete the application form. The completed form must be sent to barpartone2026@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng on or before Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

The applicant’s academic transcript and completed Forms B, B1 and B2 must come from the official email address of the university and employer, where applicable. These documents must be sent to reference@nigerianlawschool.edu.ng on or before Friday, 17 July 2026.
