BUK Urges Students to Resume Fully for Second Semester

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has officially reopened for the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Academic work is now active across all Faculties, with lectures, Continuous Assessments, and related academic exercises underway. Students are encouraged to return to campus promptly to keep up with the current pace of activities and avoid missing essential coursework.

According to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Professor Ahmad Muhammad Tsauni, who led a monitoring visit to several Faculties, student attendance at the start of the semester remains low. He expressed concern that many students have not yet resumed and called on parents and guardians to remind their wards to return to school without delay.

The University continues to maintain a strong commitment to academic quality, with Continuous Assessments already in progress and lecturers engaging students in both classroom and practical sessions. Faculty members have also been reminded to ensure smooth lesson delivery across all departments.
