DESPO Second Semester Resumption Date 2026

Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara (DESPO), through the Office of the Registrar, has announced the commencement date for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The circular is addressed to all staff and students. The Registrar, Efedi Chukwuemeke, also advises students to start making arrangements once first semester examinations end; early preparation supports a smooth return and a timely start to academic activities.

DESPO fixed the resumption date for the second semester as:

• Resumption date: Monday, 23rd March, 2026
• Semester: 2nd semester, 2025/2026 academic session
• Target audience: all staff and students of the polytechnic

What Students Are Expected to Do

Students are advised to begin making all necessary arrangements after the conclusion of their first semester examinations. The notice stresses readiness for a smooth return to campus; a timely resumption depends on students preparing early and showing up as scheduled.
