Mauritius - Africa Scholarship Scheme 2025 for Nigerians

The Mauritius – Africa Scholarship Scheme offers an opportunity for Nigerian students to study in Mauritius with full support from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Application Procedures for the Mauritius – Africa Scholarship Scheme
Applicants must access the application form electronically from the designated websites. The form must be filled out online, printed and signed.
Each applicant must apply for a full-time, on-campus programme at a public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Mauritius.
Options for Application Submission
- Attach a conditional offer or admission letter from the chosen Mauritian public HEI with the scholarship application.
- Provide an acknowledgment notice confirming that the application for admission has been submitted and the necessary application fees have been paid.
All completed applications, along with the required documents, must be submitted to the Federal Scholarship Board, Abuja, by 20 February 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship has specific conditions for Nigerian applicants.
- Nationality: Only Nigerians are eligible.
- Age:
- Undergraduate applicants must be over 18 years old but under 26 years old by 1 January 2026.
- Postgraduate applicants must not exceed 40 years of age by 1 January 2026.
- Academic Requirements:
- Undergraduate applicants must have a strong WAEC result.
- Master's and PhD applicants must hold at least a Second Class Upper (2.1).
- Health Certification: A health certificate from a recognised government hospital is mandatory.
Submission Deadline
Ensure all application forms and required documents are submitted by 20 February 2025 to the Federal Scholarship Board, Abuja.
