The Rt Hon Victor Oko Jumbo Education Scholarship Award is now open for applications. This scholarship supports indigenous Year 2 students in public universities and polytechnics across Nigeria.
Below are the eligibility criteria, required documents, and application process.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a 200 Level student or an ND2 student enrolled in a public university or polytechnic in Nigeria.
- A valid admission letter must be presented.
- You must be of Bonny origin and provide a valid Bonny Local Government identification letter.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.5 is required for university students, while polytechnic students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
- Award recipients must maintain the required CGPA to continue receiving the scholarship.
- If above 18 years, you must be a Bonny resident voter and provide evidence with a valid voter’s card.
- You must be a registered member of the National Union of Bonny Students (NUBS).
- Only students enrolled in public universities or polytechnics are eligible.
Required Documents
To apply for the scholarship, prepare the following documents:
- A valid admission letter.
- A Bonny Local Government identification letter.
- Current voter’s card (if applicable).
- A valid receipt of your previous school fees.
- A letter of attestation from your Head of Department, including your current CGPA, duly signed and stamped.
Application Process
- Fill out the provided application form.
