BUK Remedial Science Programme Admission Form 2025
Bayero University, Kano (BUK) is accepting applications for the 2024/2025 Remedial Science Programme. Candidates with O-level credits in science subjects can apply. Read on for requirements, application details and programme structure.
Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has opened applications for the Remedial Science Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The programme prepares candidates for entry into degree programmes.

Admission Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:
- Five O-level credits, including Mathematics, English and relevant science subjects, in not more than two sittings.
- Three O-level credits, with a requirement to remedy the remaining subjects before gaining admission into a degree programme.
Absorption into Degree Programmes
Candidates who pass the remedial programme and meet the following conditions will be admitted into a degree programme:
- Five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English.
- BUK minimum UTME score.
- Candidates who pass but do not meet the UTME requirement may still be considered if granted a JAMB waiver.
Validity of Results
- Results from the remedial programme remain valid for two admission sessions.
- Candidates who pass but do not meet the O-level or UTME requirements may use the result for the next session.
Programme Details
- The programme lasts one academic session.
- There will be no interruptions during the session.
- The 2024/2025 session begins in May 2025.
- Candidates who complete the programme successfully may proceed to a degree programme in 2025/2026.

- A non-refundable fee of N5,000 is required to access the online application form.
